Dominic Rhodes, an explosive running back, game changer and playmaker joined the Buffalo Bills as an unrestricted free agent on April 20, 2009.  Rhodes has appeared in 96 career games with 33 starts and rushed for 3,114 yards on 777 carries along with 26 touchdowns.  Rhodes hauled in 146 catches for 1,021 yards with four touchdowns, set a Super Bowl record for a reserve running back in Super Bowl XLI victory over Chicago gaining 113 yards on 21 carries (previous mark was 102, Jamal Lewis, Baltimore in XXXV). He is now one of two active Bills (Kawika Mitchell) with a Super Bowl Ring, XLI with Indianapolis Colts. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Colts in 2001. 

Dominic gives his time, talent and resources to his Rhodes to Success Foundation. The Rhodes to Success Foundation was created in November 2008 by Rhodes in an effort to create positive pathways for youth. Rhodes to Success offers financial support to local not-for-profits who are best able to execute the Foundation’s mission.  In the summer of 2009, Rhodes launched the Great Shoe Bailout Promotion giving away 500 new pairs of shoes to kids.  For more information visit: www.dominicrhodes.org

NFL AWARDS 2001:  NFL Offensive Rookie-of-the-Month (December)

COLLEGE:  Recorded 13; 100+ yard games in 22 outings at Midwestern State, set a school record with 493 carries for 2,541 yards, 29 rushing TDs, 27 catches for 263 yards, 1 receiving TD and 174 points.  As a kick return specialist, totaled 15-25.4 and 26-10.3 in punt return game. As a senior, Rhodes totaled 1,387 yards on 229 carries and 17 touchdowns.  Rhodes posted 248 receiving yards on 16 catches, ranked first in school’s seasonal rushing yards and touchdowns marks, scored 108 points, ranked third in NCAA Division II with 185.18 all-purpose yards per game.  He was Sports X-Change Little All-America First-Team, All-West Region first-team and All-Lone Star Conference First-Team.  He was All-Lone Star Conference First-Team.  Rhodes majored in criminal justice.  Junior College:  Two-year standout at Tyler Junior College earned All-America honors and twice named all-conference.
